Print Security Workshop
Ergo’s expert, David Carthy, will provide deep insights and practical advice in a dedicated Print Security workshop. At the workshop, key print vulnerabilities and risks will be highlighted and attendees will be provided with actionable steps that can be implemented to strengthen and secure an organisations print estate in time for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The workshop will be interactive and will include demonstrations and there will be an opportunity to discuss unique business needs.
As many organisations are aware, the GDPR will come into effect on 25th May 2018 and organisations suffering a data breach will risk fines of up to €20m or 4% of their global annual turnover. With approximately 60% of companies having suffered a data breach involving printers (Ponemon Institute, 2015), special care should be taken to ensure that multifunction devices fit properly into existing security policies and do not become a security risk.
