We had over 330 pupils and their teachers in attendance at this year’s Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP) County Showcase Day in The Knightsbrook Hotel in Co. Meath on April 27th, 2016. Throughout the day there were magnificent examples of entrepreneurship. Pupils and their teachers had the opportunity to showcase their classroom businesses.
Junior Entrepreneur Programme
Throughout the 10-week JEP programme , pupils learn about entrepreneurship, brainstorm ideas, decide on a business idea and work in teams to turn their idea into a reality. With the guidance and support of their teacher, classmates, principal and local community, the participating classes have created something truly remarkable.
On the day
Projects showcased on the day ranged from colourful sun shells, handy cookbooks to pencil holders and many other amazing products. The atmosphere was electric as the Junior Entrepreneurs visited the other exhibitors and learned about the other projects on showcase.
