Dublin-based cloud computing firm Ergo has announced plans to create 120 jobs following the acquisition of customer relationship management (CRM) specialist iSite for an undisclosed sum.
Established in 1993 by Tim Sheehy and John Purdy, the company recorded revenues of €24.5 million in 2013. Mr Purdy won the EY Industry Entrepreneur of the Year award last year.
“With the acquisition of iSite we’re welcoming 110 people into the company and in addition to this are planning to increase headcount by 120 more over the next two years or so with high-level roles in areas such as project management,” he said.
iSite, which is also based in Dublin, employs 110 people. Customers of iSite’s Dynamics CRM practice include Independent News and Media, Londis, Fáilte Ireland, and Tourism Ireland.
Ergo said it also launching a new spin-off business, called Ergo Resourcing, which will provide on-site IT skills for clients. It will be headed by former iSite chief executive and founder Dave Muldoon and aims to become a €20 million turnover company within the next three years.
