For the fourth time in six years Ergo has been named the Microsoft Country Partner of the Year, the most prestigious award for IT services companies that provide Microsoft-based solutions and associated professional services to the Irish market.
The Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award recognises partners at the country level that have demonstrated business excellence in delivering Microsoft services or solutions to mutual customers during the past year. Ergo was singled out in the 2015 awards for having consistently grown its Microsoft practice with annual revenue increases of over 114 per cent.
John Purdy, Ergo Chief Executive said, “We are delighted that our Microsoft practice continues to be recognised and that we are seen to be at the forefront of the transformation in the way software is delivered and consumed from the cloud. The combination of Microsoft’s excellent software and services with our engineering excellence and customer focus makes for a winning partnership.”
Martin Cullen, SMSP Director, Microsoft, said, “Ergo’s receipt of this award four out of six years is an outstanding achievement, they continuously deliver exceptional value to our mutual clients. We are impressed with Ergo’s commitment to innovation and excellence, and are delighted with their success both in Ireland and internationally.”
Ergo provides a comprehensive range of Microsoft products and services, encompassing infrastructure, applications and data. Responsible for 58 per cent of Microsoft’s Office 365 implementations in Ireland, Ergo has delivered over 150 cloud-based projects over the last two years for some of Ireland’s best-known companies:
Microsoft also praised Ergo for the way it has built on its SharePoint platform, launching their integrated FlowForma product, an innovative business process enablement tool that has been making huge inroads within the UK and Irish markets to date.
The news of the award comes two weeks after Ergo announced its acquisition of another Microsoft partner, iSite, a move that will significantly expand its Microsoft Dynamics CRM capability. “Our ambition has always been to continually grow and improve our Microsoft practice. It’s a tribute to our engineers and Subject Matter Experts that we have been repeatedly recognised by Microsoft on this journey,” said John Purdy.
