Referral Programme

Referral Programme

Anyone may qualify for a bonus payment under the terms of this scheme for referring candidates to Ergo for both IT contractor and permanent IT opportunities. Each time you recommend a candidate to Ergo, who is subsequently hired, the referring party will be rewarded.

Referral Programme

Contractor Hires:

The new contractor must be contracted for a minimum of 3 months duration for the referring contractor to be entitled to the bonus payment. Where this is the case, the referring contractor will be entitled to a single bonus payment of €500 paid when the new contractor has completed 6 weeks service, provided the new contractor is still contracted at that time.

Permanent Hires:

If a contractor refers a candidate who is subsequently hired under a permanent contract of employment, the referring contractor will be entitled to a bonus payment of €1,000 payable in two equal amounts. The first €500 will be paid when the new employee has completed 3 months service and the second €500 will be paid when the new employee has completed another 3 months service ( 6 month stage), provided the employee is still in the employment at both times.

In addition, if a contractor recommends more than 5 candidates, within a 12 month period, who are hired on either a contractor or permanent employee basis, then the existing contractor will be entitled to an additional bonus payment of €500.

Process:

The process involved in order to qualify for payment under this scheme, could not be easier. The referring contractor must email the candidate CV to the Talent Acquisition Specialist or the Ergo HR team and this team will manage the application process thereafter. Should the candidate be successfully hired, the HR team will then contact the referring contractor to confirm the hire and advise of the eligibility date for payment of the relevant bonus.

Payment:

The referring contractor must invoice Ergo for the relevant payment amount and payment will be issued thereafter. The invoice submitted by the contractor must list the relevant PAYE/Company Registration Number and/or VAT registration number and list the Ergo PO number which has been supplied. Full tax liability in respect of payments under this scheme rest with the individual/ referring contractor. Ergo Services Ltd will issue payments to relevant contractors/individuals in good faith and on the basis that all payments are declared to the revenue commissioners for taxation purposes.

Who can avail of this scheme?

Existing Contractors currently contracting through Ergo, Contractors who have not previously had any dealings or working relationship with Ergo, Contractors who have worked for us in the past or current existing contractors who move on to other contract roles can still continue to refer candidates to Ergo. Other individuals external to Ergo may also refer individuals under this scheme, provided they invoice Ergo for the payment in accordance with the above guidelines.

Exclusions:

Ergo cannot accept referrals from contractors or other candidates if the CV being referred has already been received from another source, e.g. a recruitment agency or another referring contractor. The Ergo HR team will notify referring contractors in such a circumstance and advise that the CV has been received in from another source and cannot be accepted. If the candidate being referred is subsequently hired, the original referring contractor will be entitled to the bonus applicable. Individuals cannot refer themselves i.e. bonus payments under this scheme will only be paid to individuals who refer other individuals to Ergo.

Definitions:

Contractor" means either the individuals or the limited companies through which the contractors work and with whom Ergo has contracted to carry out IT Services, either directly for Ergo or externally on one of Ergo’s client sites. Contractors are individuals who are not employees, who are not included on company payroll but who are paid upon presentation of a signed timesheet and invoice.

Existing Contractors” means either the individuals or the limited companies through which the contractors work and with whom Ergo already has a contract agreement to provide IT Services, either directly with the contractor or via a recruitment agency or third party provider.

Referring party” means the individual who submits a candidate CV to Ergo directly, for either an IT Contract or IT Permanent position.

New Contractor” means the individual contractor who has been referred, under the terms and conditions of this scheme, by another contractor or candidate and who has subsequently been offered a contract role of at least 3 months duration.
